Inspired by the spice trails of Asia

Inspired by the cuisine and culture of South East Asia, Red Spice Road launched in the heart of Melbourne in 2007; a place where Melbourne's laneway culture meets the spice trails of Asia.
Our ethos is around the sharing of food and conversation, which is why our beautiful Asian-inspired spaces are designed around communal dining.
The flavours and cuisine of countries including Thailand and Vietnam is beautifully brought to life by acclaimed chef, John McLeay, while complementary art by David Bromley adorns the walls. We are also home to the largest indoor lantern in the Southern Hemisphere.
Join us for a special celebration, business lunch, or on the last Sunday of the month when we celebrate different regions of Asia with key food and drinks from that area.
